To Svilengrad for the 3rd stage of the European Project
In May, the delegations were in Portugal while in recent days, precisely from 16 to 20 June, they went to Svilupporad, a small municipality in central-southern Bulgaria of 22,000 inhabitants, located on the border with Greece and Turkey, for the third stage.

On this occasion, after the traditional welcoming ceremony in which each municipality presented its initiatives developed within the project, in the following days the participants had the chance to visit the beauties of the host country including Haskovo, the regional capital city, with the Thracian Museum and the highest Madonna statue in the world (17 meters), and Mesek a few kilometers from the border of Greece and Turkey with the remains of its imposing medieval fortress.

«They were five intense days bringing new experiences, surrounded by the warmth of an exquisite welcome. We were able to savor the local specialties and immerse ourselves in their culture which has ancient origins and which looks to the future with creativity and trust in friendship with nations» – Said Elda Chiocchetti, Councilor for the Budget and representative for this adventure not only of the Municipality of Gaglianico but also of the Biellesi Prealps Archers Sports Association of which she is President.
